How often do rates update?

Rates come from ExchangeRate-API and update once a day. They are a guide, not a quote, and won't match the rate your bank or card gives you.

Does Splits work offline?

Yes. Splits saves the last rates it fetched and uses them when you have no signal. It tells you how old those rates are.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up and nothing to log in to. What you enter stays on your phone, and deleting the app deletes it.

Can I use dark mode?

Splits follows your phone's light or dark setting.
