# expo-doctor wants TypeScript 6 but tsc reports hundreds of errors

There is no error message for this one, only the symptom in the title.

## Cause

TypeScript 6 changes ambient type resolution (jest globals and similar). It is a separate breaking upgrade, not part of the SDK bump.

## Fix

Stay on TypeScript ~5.9 and stop expo-doctor complaining:
