## Cause

The Mac clock was 81 seconds slow. The local API set expires_at = now + 25 s by its own clock, which was already in the past by the database's clock.

## Fix

Resync the clock (`sudo sntp -sS time.apple.com`), and prefer database time (`now()`) for expiry timestamps over app server time.
