# Expo Router app opens on the second tab

There is no error message for this one, only the symptom in the title.

## Cause

Round-bracket groups do not appear in the URL, so `(exercises)/index.tsx` is also `/`, competing with the first tab's index.

## Fix

Only one tab group gets an `index.tsx`; name the others' screens (`exercises.tsx`).
