> The development provisioning profile expired. Renewing it needs an Apple login, which EAS cannot do in non-interactive mode (CI, scripts, agent shells).

iOS. Likely fix, 18 September 2026.

Versions: eas-cli, non-interactive shell

There is no error message for this one, only the symptom in the title.

## Cause

The development provisioning profile expired. Renewing it needs an Apple login, which EAS cannot do in non-interactive mode (CI, scripts, agent shells).

## Fix

Run the build once from a real terminal and let EAS log in to Apple and regenerate profiles for every target (app, widget, notification extension):
```bash
npx eas-cli@latest build --platform ios --profile development
```
If a device is missing from the profile, run `npx eas-cli device:create` first.
