Android: first location lookup fails right after sign-up
React NativeLikely fix
expo-location, Android
There is no error message for this one, only the symptom in the title.
Cause
expo-location pauses its geocoder while the app is in the background, and a system permission dialog counts as background. The lookup fired while the dialog was open and was refused.
Fix
Retry the lookup once when AppState returns to active after the permission prompt.
